After getting over my initial excitement that this specific training plan existed, I really looked at the training calendar. IT STARTED A MONTH AGO! Whoops. Well, I can't go back in time, so I'm just starting where I am with a few tweaks to catch up. Yesterday I ran my first official training run, a 30 minute treadmill jog after Drew went to sleep (bonus to running this late is that it can help me prepare for a night race! TOT doesn't start until 10pm!). My body felt pretty heavy since it had been a little while since I'd run, but I ran the full 30 minutes and felt great afterward.
Feeling really excited to be back on a training plan, especially for such a fun race!
